I recently purchased the Kaidan QuickPan IV Rotator with the Spherical Elevation Bracket. Does anyone else use this rotator combination with a Nikon D70?

I'm having a tough time attaching the camera body to the bracket in a way that it feels stable. Maybe someone else has experienced (and maybe solved) this issue?
