Has anyone tried the Opteka Hi-Def .22x Fisheye Lens with a Nikon 8700.  I have a Nikon 8700 coming tommorow and I have a 360-one shot lens that I have been using with a Canon S2-IS
I am a newbie looking for the easiest setup with the best results.

Don't do it mate... I tried it with a nikon 8400. the lens is only fisheye 'effect' then you take shots the very centre is quite sharp but the rest of the image just deteriorates and get more & more blurred towards the edges and it also suffers from really bad chromatic abberation. The best lens for your camera would be the nikon FC-E9.
