I am looking at an upgrade from the CoolPix 8700 that I have been using. I am looking at a D50 vs. D70s. I have reviewed all of the specs and from a techical standpoint I think the D50 will fit work for me.

BUT....

I would like to get some feedback from anyone with experience on these units as well as information on the best (image quality and ease of use) lens to use.

D70s has now been discontinued for the d80. So don't buy it unless well discounted under the d80 price.
