Hi,

To all the pros on the board, what are the recommended items for cleaning lenses.

Are cleaning pads that do well with eyeglasses good enough?

Or are there specific products you recommend?

Thanks,
eagle

We use a 'no lint' lens cloth.  These are usually available at a nominal cost at your local camera shop. The fabric usually removes finger print oils and dust.

The Canon Rep told me to just throw it in the washing machine to clean it.  AND DO NOT use fabric softner or bleach.

Which cycle should we use?

Thanks guys.

I also found an article on this at kenrockwell.com which is a terrific website I've followed especially on setting up and using the D70 and D70s cameras.

Thanks,
eagle
