I have a NikonD70 and the 8mm Sigma lens. I have never used panoweaver before. If I want to make a full 360 tour, do I use circular 3 shot?

Also, should the camera sideways, or level? I am using a panosaurus head.

gametavern,

First welcome to the forums.

To answer your questions....the Nikon D70 has a 1.5x crop factor so you will want to shoot at least 4 images in portrait mode...at 90 degree stops. You will want to keep the camera as level as possible..... hot shoe bubble level comes in handy.

You will then stitch the images by selecting drum in Panoweaver.

Setting the crop circle is done by sizing and positioning it with the X,Y, R values in the upper right of the software screen. The Radius should be positioned so that the crop circle is just inside the vignetting halo of the image edge.

It should be noted that on some cameras the full circle may exceed the image at the top and bottom as well as the sides.

Regards, Smooth
