Who says you can not make good panoramas with 2 full fisheye or 3 Drum Fisheye. Now you can do it very easy with out problems with the lens 220lens 220degrees?
Here are a few examples and Master Images ( also Ptgui projects and template )
Photos taken with a canon G12

Again in the interests of people considering such an "adapter" lens for use on a compact camera.

The Opteka Vortex Fisheye appears to be the very same thing. At least in the specifications, design, wording and warranty. http://opteka.com/optvt58.aspx

These are also available in different thread sizes.

I personally don't care if they are the very same thing or not. I just wish to make people aware of their options.

Regards, Smooth [8D]

N.B: Any personal attacks, or any mention of bias will see this thread vanish into the ether just like the previous "attempt".

Smooth would be good if someone will show us examples of photography with other lenses as you mention, in order to assess objectively.

The aim of this topic is to inform other users of the options that exist today in the lens  market and each choose what interests you.

Regards

The Opteka lens also costs only USD 160.00 as against 1220 being shown on http://www.220lens.com/

A bit of blatant advertising going on on this thread me thinks

Regards

Neil

Am I glad that you are just a happy user, and not the one who is actually selling those quality lens adapters..
