i have a personal computer containing

amd duron 700mhz

256mb ram

20GB haed disk

now i want to replace my 20GB hard disk with 80GB.will it be compatible with the given config?

I dont think the size of your hard drives matters to any software configs, its just 'extra' storage. I would expect with the spec you have described it is painfully slow though.
