Eagle....

That's exactly how I am trying to select the au.file.  I think the file is too big, when I use the sample au.files with VT1, and VT2 they are only 143kb and 326kb, but the file I want to use is 2.59 MB... How do I compress this or minimize this to become usable for TW?

Thanks

Is the file that you are trying to use music?  If so, you may have to use an editor and loop a section of it to reduce the file size.  That is what I do.  I find a spot where the music repeats and that is where I cut the track.  This way, when you select the file to loop, it sounds continuous.

Ok, I finally got it to work with Adobe Audition: This is what I did:

Adobe Audition Conversion to Au.Files

  1. Open any music file
  2. Select Edit
    1. Select Conversion Sample Type

                                                               i.      Select Sample Rate to 8000

ii.      Select Channel rate to Mono

iii.      Select Bit Depth to 32

                                                           iv.      Push OK

  1. Save As
  2. Remember to select Save as type to au. File NeXT/Sun(*au.*,.snd) type
  3. Press Save

This worked for me. I can use any MP3 song, wave file, etc. and it will convert it to play in its entirity
