Using the floorplan feature with the panorama is one of the main attractions for real estate virtual tours in my opinion. However, sometimes the "marker" (highlighted area) that appears on the floorplan is a little misleading because it is too wide and too deep.

Is there a way to narrow and shorten this?

hhmmm....

as far as I understand it... the markers width  is adjusted by the fov input u give the pano in the manage stage. The depth is governed by the size of ur map. Then again... I think the maps width of view should really only be seen as an assistance to the direction of view rather then an acqurate guide to ur surroundings. I tend to reduce the amount of colour of the marker to around 50% which gives the vieewr more map to see and less distraction. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

im not a tourweaver user  but i know that the "marker" (highlighted area)

is controlled by zooming in and out.

phoneix, i think is too deep too long!

afterall, in your in a bedroom, you can only look at hte 4 walls of the room,

you can't see thrught the walls like superman...i'm batman.

is there a way to correct the lenght?

perhaps a slider can be used to determine the leghnt of each hotspot compass flood.

umm using my nogging i got to think.

if on the actual skin we put the floorplan and they

we layer just the map of the room (which is a small piece of the flooplan) then

the flood will only be seen in the room!

at least thats theoretical - have not yet played with tourweaver.

how many map images can go into the skin?

1 map per skin... however, u can put a larger map into the skin and scroll left/right/up/down to various parts of the map. As far as I'm aware, there's no way to correct the length... but I don't see the need... nor have I ever heard a customer complain.

Actually I did complain! I don't like the annoying spinning compass "Highlights" it takes away from the pano and is very gimmicky. A spinning arrow pointer is more than enough. Rarely do these compass highlights line up correctly anyway.

Just my opinion?

Regards, Smooth

HHmmm.. moan moan moan  Lets see what Easypano have in store for us with TW 1.3... maybe they changed something there. Otherwise I can only really recommend that u decrease the brightness of the viewing wedge so that it isn't that distracting. Enough complaints may even make Easypano change the map function. It would be nice to have an option...
