You can draw a map with other software, such as Smartdraw or Photoshop, and then save the map as jpg or gif format. You can also scan the printed map or floorplan to import them to Tourweaver for your tour.

Use PowerPoint to draw your floorplans and save it as a jpg or copy the slide to Photoshop and add a layer style i.e bevel and emboss to give it a 3D look.

PowerPoint gives one the flexibility to draw and place shapes.

An example to view is my tour posted the gallery  named : Tour from South Africa

For my second posting Tour from Cape Town I used a package called TurboCad which was inexpensive and it halved the time drawing floor plans

I'm currently using
- scanned JPEG's of floorplan docs from the clients,
- photos I took myself with perspective tweaked in CS,
- line drawing made in MS Visio.

Illustrator & Photoshop mainly and 3D progs if required.
