After a number of years using PW, I have now downloaded TW trial version. I struggled for some time to post a tour, but I am almost there. I have uploaded a tour(which works fine on the pc) but only seems to load to about 90% on my site.

Click http://www.terrynamvr.co.uk/gt1a.html to see what I mean.

Any Suggestions? Your help would be appreciated.

Terry,

I had (what I think is) the same problem based on your description. If I were to play a hunch, you probably checked the "encrypt images" box just before uploading your tour. Try uploading again with this unchecked. It has something to do with some serveres not recognizing jpeg1 files. What does that mean? I don't know. But it worked for me.

Make sure your scene folder is all in lower case, that is to say "Scene" no good, "scene" tres bien.

I think I recall this giving me a problem a while back.

Cheers Rudders - it was 'off the peg', seems to work now, not sure what I did...but hey ho.

Could you try http://www.terrynamvr.co.uk/Tourviewer_gt1a.html to see if all works fine your end. It appears to freeze after the initial pano loads and is very jerky?

Hey Terry,

Your pano's look great! Well done.

Loaded fine and played A.O.K.

File sizes seem large, what size is each panorama? This will explain the jerkiness, though things were not jerky on my system.

Regards, Smooth

Smooth - Pano's are 2000 by 1000, is this right?

Rudders, thanks for the test.

Thank you all for your comments

2000 x 1000 is OK. 1500 x 750 might be a better choice though.

What are the "File" sizes in KB's? Try and get them around 250kb each or less.

Regards, Smooth
