Has anyone any idea as to the difference in functionality between the Previous Scene/Next Scene buttons and the Forward/Backward buttons? I have tried a number of permutations and they both seem to do the same thing!

They also both seem to be linked to the "master tour", this is irritating if you have embeded one or more sub tours, which are in a different image sequence to the main tour.

Any thougts anyone?

There are differences between these two sets of buttons.  The following are their different functions.
Button 'Previous Scene' and 'Next Scene':
For example, you have scene 1, scene 2, scene 3, 4, and 5. At present, you are playing scene 2. If you click on button 'previous scene', it will begin to play scene 1. And if you click on button 'next scene', it will play scene 3. It plays accroding to the order of thumbnail or scenelist.

Button 'Forward' and 'Backward':
For example, you are playing scene 2 at present. Then, you choose to play scene 4. At this moment, if you click on button 'Backword', it will begin to play scene 2, not scene 3. If you click on button 'previous scene', it will play scene 3.

Besides, button 'Playmovie' is linked to the default movie.

i use the the backward button as a hotspot link from fotos in a tour to go back to the pano i originated from. the other varient, as super anne discribes, just takes me back down the numbered path of images in my tour.
