Hi,

Can anyone recommend some floorplan software to use with tourweaver.  Ive checked out smartdraw and it seems to do the job, just wondered if anyone had had any experience with any alternatives.

Thanks

Hi

I use floorplan3D from www.imsisoft.com You can see an example of a simple floor plan at http://www.herthadalen.dk/visuel_rundtur.html

It is easy to use and not very expensive. But if it is good enough for your needs I cant say.

Hi Morten,

it looks good!

Can you also add furniture in the plan from templates like in Visio and SmartDraw?

Thanks

Dedo

Hi Dedo

I do not know the other programs so I can't give an exact answer. But I know that there is a small variety of furnitures as a standard in the program, and it is possible to buy a package with extra furnitures etc.

RoadRunner,

I have used Smartdraw and like it for 2D plans but for 3D I used Envisioneer by Cadsoft.  Here are 2 examples. I used the Envisioneer because it enabled me to do the 3D Panos as well.

Hi Roadrunner

No problem, I'm kust happy to help. Actually I was recommended this software from an other forum member. Just can't remember his name....

Post a link when you get started producing floorplans with the software so we can see how you are doing :o)

It would appear that www.imsisoft.com Floorplan 3D software is no more? Looks to have been replaced with Turbo FLOORPLAN Software.

What happened for registered users? Did you get an upgrade? Is the new product better? Is it even the same thing?

Regards, Smooth

Like Morten, I use the IMSI 3D Floorplan software.

They have just brought out a new version which has even more features.

Have a look at the link below.

http://www.imsidesign.com/Products/TurboFLOORPLANSeries/DemoVideos/tabid/511/Default.aspx?cid=332956

It is also on special discounted price of $90 until Dec 31st.
