Hello,

I have noticed that all components in my Tour are not activate in the first place.

For instance if you want to interact with any of the buttons (hotspot, help button, navigation buttons etc), you first need to click on the page once.

In fact as soon as you have loaded the page you will get the hint text saying:

"Click to activate and use this control"

If you do it after that no problem and you can start using the Tour components.

Does anybody know how I can avoid that?

That kind of "initial button" can be an usability issue for the users...

Thanks in advance.

DD

Hi DD

Alex at Ihearyadevelopments also had a solution. It is just 3 small steps and your are done :o) I can't find the thread he posted but I saved the information. Here it is just as he wrote it (btw. thank you so much alex)

OK I see some really nice Virtual Tours, however I'm using IE 6 and Microsoft decided to make it so you have to click the APPLET to "Activate and use this control". Its very annoying because as a viewer you think you can click on a link  once but you have to actually click it twice. I noticed it tonight when I went to http://www.virtualscarborough.co.uk/towntour/towntour.html  Thats a beautiful site by the way :)

Anywho I know many use Netscape and Firefox which has no problems but alot of people are using the latest version of IE 7 or at least ver 6.0.2

OK now for the fix. I'm posting this because I love tourweaver and sorta feel at home with other VT crazies :) Here are the simple steps t
