How many rows of pictures someone will need in order to create a virtual tour, in which you can see both the floor and the ceiling? Is there anywhere a tutorial to show exactly how to create a virtual tour? Using both, the fisheye lens, and the OneShot system?
Thanks

Pedy,

By "Virtual Tour" I am assuming that you are referring to a 360 Panorama Image. Perhaps the first place to start would be in the Panoweaver section of this forum. There is lots of good advice there.

Also Take a look at panoguide.com
This is a good site to get your feet wet and cover the basics.

A single row of shots is good with an adequate digital SLR. Typically this is from 4 to 6 shots depending on the particular type of fisheye lens used. Take a look through the forums in Panoweaver section for details.

I would stay clear of the one shot lenses as they just don't provide the resolution needed for large and full screen viewers.

You want to be quick and don't need full 360x180? Go for a mirror system. You want to have quality and the 360x180-option? Go for a DSLR.
