Hello,

How can I get the tour that is generated to run without the "Script / Active X" warning IE displays when the tour is played from a local drive?

It will eolas work around will ONLY work when uploaded to a server. The original question is to fix this issue on your own local computer. People have jump to the wrong answer. It is the ActiveX warning local that is annoying everytime you wish to view something. It has nothing to do with the EOLAS work around. It is a Microsoft security issue.

killerwebs, in Internet Explorer click "Tools", "Internet Options", "Advanced", then under "Security" check "Allow active content to run in files on my computer". This should stop you active X message.

After looking at the files Easypano Tourweaver 2.0 outputs there is no need to add extra scripts because Easypano have adjusted the <applet></applet> into a javascript file called tourname.js and this counters the EOLAS problem.

Why does this work? because it is NOT the HTML that calls the applet but rather the HTML file calls the tourname.js file and the tourname.js calls the Tourweaver 2.0 applet. This gets around the EOLAS patent.

Regards, Smooth
