hmm not sure what you mean type in the url?

I clicked on your link to papineau.. and it fits nicely on a standard 15" monitor.  Actually it is very lonely on a 22" monitor.. taking up about 30% of the left screen side.

Hi digitalnoise.

If I understand you right, your want to open a pop up window from a regular link.

I too wanted to be able to do this. It have been debated in a previous thread where we actually came up with a solution. But it was just nok very optimal. It is not very straight forward, and it will run in to a lot of pop up blockers.

Best regards

Morten

I know of code to make this happen when a link is clicked on your website, but not how to do it from a URL.

If you need the code, PM me (I won't have it till I get home).

Hello, Bill.
The secret is, to link to a page that automagically creates a popup and closes itself.
A link to the source files can be found here on the 2nd page January-18-2007 at 10:30am
