followed the general instructions for setting up a nodal point, but found nothing exact. I'm concerned that if I'm off on my nodal setting, my pix will suffer-real or imagined? Is there an precise test for list that exists that will help me find the nodal point? I'm using a Sigma8mm1:4 exDG Fisheye, on a Nikon D70s, on a Manfrotto 329 Tripod. I've "guessed" that 3.2 on the tripod will approx. put the nodal point of my lens over the center of the spining core of the tripod. any suggestions?
Thanks!
Erin

If you have not already done so, try looking through these .pdf articles. In each, there should be a short discussion about how to find the No Parallax Point.  Includes pictures.  Look for one .pdf that shows finding the No Parallax point using a fence line.  The one with the test block on the table.. is a bit fuzzy.  I need to change that photo.

Hope this helps
