Need to pick brains again. The link below is the latest to a tour I just completed. I need to have just one link that goes directly to the tour itself. What am I or not doing?
Once you launch the tour, right click on the page, and select "View Source" you will get a page that looks like this:
<html>
<head>
<META NAME="GENERATOR" Content="Tourweaver">
<title>
Virtual Tour Created By Virtual Horizons
</title>
</head>
<body leftMargin="0" topMargin="0" rightMargin="0" bottomMargin="0"*>
<!--Begin: Virtual tour created with Easypano Tourweaver-->
<script language="JavaScript" src="Project8.js"></script>
<!--End: Virtual tour created with Easypano Tourweaver-->
</body>
</html>
This is from your web page, so select
File>save and save it on you hard drive (I create a folder called "JobName"sourcefile) then open the file using a text editing program. copy and insert this
<p align="center"
in the spot that I put the red "*" in your source file.
Almost done, I promise!
Now save the source file, and open go to the ftp site you transfer your files to, open the folder that has this tour in it, and delete the link you just copied (I know, but it will be ok, I promise) now, with your ftp window open, and you logged in to your ftp site, open the folder that has the source file you just saved, and drag it into the project folder on your ftp site.
Close your ftp window, and relaunch the tour using the link you found before, the tour will open in the upper left still, but now you need to click the "refresh" button on your web browser, and the tour will be centered on the page.
To be honest it has been a REALLY long time since I had any coffie, and I have reread this and it looks right, but I may have missed something. If this does not work, I'll check again in the morning.
