if i have a homepage with my tour embed-ed in a sub-page called tour.html and that page linked to my homepage and others via a menu bar (standard web site)

 

can i have the images preloading while the client is browsing the homepage?

The answer is no. Well not totally a no but it cannot be done via the Easypano software products. You would need to code in your homepage HTML that started the image preloading.

There are javascripts to do just that, I choose an option without javascript.
I will give you the code you need, just put it right above the </body> tag in the page from which you want to start the preloading:

<p style="display: none;">
<img src="http://www.yoursite.com/pathtoyoutimages/image1.jpg" width="1" height="1" alt="none" >
<img src="http://www.yoursite.com/pathtoyoutimages/image2.jpg" width="1" height="1" alt="none" >
etc. etc.
</p>

I guess it will not work with encrypted images.
