Hi Folks,

I've created my first tour since upgrading to TW4, I'm extremely pleased with the results.

My problem is that my tour works fine when published on my Hard Drive, however, when I transfer my files by FTP to the website it's for, I just can't get it to work.

I managed to get all three versions of tours (Java, EasyPano, Flash) created with TW3 uploaded and working no problem, I just can't get the Flash version created with TW4 going!

I'd be absolutely delighted if anyone with a bit more knowledge\experience could point me in the right direction.

Cheers,

Gerry

Hi Gerry, welcome to the forum. Can you post a link of the tour that should be working, it might help us identify the problem.

What is the size of your images?
They should no be larger than 5000 x 2500... or 6000 x 3000
When i tried to work with 9000 x 4500 i got a similar problem.. the tour opened but the images didn't.

Hope it helps.
Thanks,

Daniel

I think I am having a similar issue with the tour not fully loading and my images are 4000 X 2000.

Hi Dave, I looked at the tour and all works except the autoplay. When I click on the buttons to the left, ie: ladies shower it works fine.
Do you have the "Autoplay" box checked? Click on publish then general and under "Default Movie:" check the "autoplay" box. I know it sounds stupid but it may be something that was over looked or somehow got unchecked.

Very nice tour, like the skin.

Hi Jerry,

Thank you for the compliment. I checked to see if that box is checked and it is. The strange thing about this whole thing is the tour plays perfectly on my pc. It is only when you upload it does the tour not work. The total tour is approximately 17mb. I have seen this before where I have had something not work. I usually reupload it and problem is solved. This time I have reuploaded too many times and get the same result. Can there be any conflicting code that could cause it to bomb? I sent in a report on this to Easy Pano. Maybe they will be able to shed some light on the subject. Thanks again.

Dave

This is just a followup to my problem. I received a response from Easy Pano. My issue is that I was using illegal characters in some of the file names such as a # sign. When I changed these everything works great.

Thank you Jerry for your help.

Looks good Dave.

You might want to use this code to center the tour on the web browser.

You'll need to change the color code, currently set for black, to a more appealing color:

<body leftMargin="0" topMargin="0" rightMargin="0" bottomMargin="0"  style="background-color: #000000"> <center>

Just replace the current code near the top  that reads:

 <body leftMargin="0" topMargin="0" rightMargin="0" bottomMargin="0">

How did you limit the cabin scene movement, so you can't pan all the way down?

I've never figured out how do get Tourweaver to do an individual scence like that.

Good work!

Rob

Looks good Dave, I agree with Rob on the centering and background colors. Of course that is just a personal preference.
