Am I right that TW 4.0 is still not preloading the next scenes in the background?

If not is this something to finally expect back in 4.0 or are we to wait for 5.0 and forced to update again?

Regards Markus

Easypano, we have a problem!

When using the publish option and selecting small and large versions I receive error messages from Flash as follows:

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
 at com.easypano.tourweaver.player::SpherePlayer/draw()
 at com.easypano.tourweaver.player::SpherePlayer/paint()
 at com.easypano.tourweaver.player::Scene/paint()

 at com.easypano.tourweaver.controls::TWSceneViewer/reSize()
 at com.easypano.tourweaver.controls::UIComponent/resize()
 at com.easypano.tourweaver.managers::StageManager/resizeHanlder()

Followed by (after clicking dismiss)

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

 at com.easypano.tourweaver.player::SpherePlayer/paint()

 at com.easypano.tourweaver.managers::FullScreenManager/set isFullScreen()
 at com.easypano.tourweaver.ui::MenuControl/fullScreenHanlder()

Test for yourself.

Error sample  (go fullscreen for error via mouse right click menu)

and when not using the dual resolution option.

Working sample

Credit where credit is due the new Flash viewer is a HUGE improvement and now more like Pano2VR and Flashpanoramas viewer with all the great options of Tourweaver.

I assume this problem exists for everybody?

Regards, Smooth

I agree.  Big improvement on the Flash viewer.  Thanks much!

Smooth, I tried publishing the same way, but didn't get an error.  I'm using Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1.

Flash version 10,0,12,36 installed

Hmm, I have tested this on 4 computers in my office.

Computer 1 running XP SP3 I.E 7.0 and Flash 10.0.12.36 and I get Action Script error as stated above.

Computer 2 running Vista Home Premium I.E 7.0 and Flash 10.0.12.36 and I get Action Script error as stated above.

Computer 3 running Vista Home Premium I.E 7.0 and Flash 10.0.12.36 and I don't get the Action Script error but it is random if the pano actually goes fullscreen. It can be showing the fullscreen pano but with a browser frame. (flakey!)

Computer 4 running XP SP2 I.E 7.0 and Flash 10.0.12.36 and all works correctly.

BTW: I have tested with Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera for the same results.

Obviously there is a problem as this doesn't happen using any of the other Flash pano viewers. What the issue is I don't know. Possibly a conflict with other installed software?

It would be helpful if others would test and report their findings.

Regards, Smooth

Hi, Using the latest release of TW4 (400090121) I noticed a problem witht he full screen mode.

I made a new install of the software after having deleted the previous version.

I used the provided example Lijing Garden.

When I run the tour on IE windows, if I click on a scene to go full screen, it displays a gray screen only which disappears when I click again on the scene.

Hi Smooth,

The error may happen if you have the debug version of Flash player 10 on your computer.

We upgraded a new version of Tourweaver just now. Please download the latest version 4.00.090123 at http://www.easypano.com/download-virtual-tour-software.html

Thank you all.

Hello Carol,

Yes, I have Flash debug installed as do most developers and those I give tuition too.

I'm glad for the newest release, I'm off to test now.

Regards, Smooth
