ok, I know the activex issue has been discuessed here before, but this topic is a little unique in that I am looking to solve the activeX issue without having to access a server. How do I go about this? I once found an online program that allowed you to just place the title of your page into a text area and it created the full js file and applet code to paste. Anyway, any help is appreciated.

"Activex issues" are PC issue...
What about just open GL issues on Mac and Linux!
We all work for multi-plarefom goals !
What ever the initial machine is used, this is not a deval-vr 'non' developed for all platform problem !
I just hope that the team is working on both

Not sure what your question is.........

"I am looking to solve the activeX issue without having to access a server"

You mean display an Easypano Flash file locally on your computer ? or are you talking about the EOLAS patent issue for assuring you have the most current version of Adobe Flash (now ver 10) on their machine.

MS bought a license from EOLAS and MS Vista SP1  IE 7 now calls Adobe Flash download page directly without having to use the .. javascript.  Issue resolved.

Do not want to view your local Flash content using a browser plug in?  Download the Stand Alone version of Flash Viewer 10.

---------- Adobe FLASH Viewer Resources PC/Mac versions available.

(uninstall_flash_player.exe)

Flash viewer 10 Projector content debugger  Standalone PC version for developers
(flashplayer_sa_debug.EXE 4.87mb)

Flash viewer version 10 Active X control content for PC IE 7 Browsers
(flashplayer_10_ax_debug.exe)
