Greetings,

I just wanted to share a recent tour I completed:

http://www.enviropix.net/scottsdale.com/hotelindigo/

And as a side note, does anyone know if it's possible to post the tour in Facebook?

Thanks!

Jeff

Hi,

Perhaps I didn't word this right, does anyone know how to embed a tour into a format that allows for posting in a blog or other social networking site?

If not, if you guys at Easypano read this, is this something that can be developed by you?

Hi Jeff, embedding is something I have been struggling with for a long time. I know the HTML gives instructions on how to embed a tour into a webpage but I have never been able to figure it out. It says you have to load all the files to the same page but I can't seem to get the hang of it. I was also told that you could just copy and paste the HTML code into a page and it would work also. But it didn't work for me. So I will be watching your thread with interest to see if it can be done.

Hi there

Same here - can't seem to 'get' how to have a tw 4 tour load in a page I've made - rather than link it from a page ive made so it opens in another.

Having something to let EP tours go 'viral' with facebook would be very very handy...

Thanks guys,

Perhaps easypano will create something along the lines of a youtube application for blogs and such.

In the meantime, Facebook allows for posting of urls, so that will do for now.

I don't have a facebook account but is it possible to use custom html code when posting whatever? If so, try the <iframe> tag. (google it for more info)

I use it all the time when I host tours and then I supply webmasters with an iframe of the tour to embed into a page on their site. This way they don't have to wrestle with code nor do they have to host the tour. If the tour needs to be updated, since I host it then it is a snap. Many times it takes way to long to find the right person that can unzip tw files on some clients server. The downside is that if I die or go out of business and my hosting account goes away, so do the tours.
