Perhaps I didn't word this right, does anyone know how to embed a tour into a format that allows for posting in a blog or other social networking site?
If not, if you guys at Easypano read this, is this something that can be developed by you?
Hi Jeff, embedding is something I have been struggling with for a long time. I know the HTML gives instructions on how to embed a tour into a webpage but I have never been able to figure it out. It says you have to load all the files to the same page but I can't seem to get the hang of it. I was also told that you could just copy and paste the HTML code into a page and it would work also. But it didn't work for me. So I will be watching your thread with interest to see if it can be done.
I don't have a facebook account but is it possible to use custom html code when posting whatever? If so, try the <iframe> tag. (google it for more info)
I use it all the time when I host tours and then I supply webmasters with an iframe of the tour to embed into a page on their site. This way they don't have to wrestle with code nor do they have to host the tour. If the tour needs to be updated, since I host it then it is a snap. Many times it takes way to long to find the right person that can unzip tw files on some clients server. The downside is that if I die or go out of business and my hosting account goes away, so do the tours.
