Hi, I have managed to create a popup with an .swf video. Is there a way of including a control panel or "loading" screen?

Thanks

Lee

I've only just got around to experimenting using .swf videos in a demo tour today (perks of being stuck inside and unable to do anything I'm paid to do or for my tour business because I'm ill) - its a pretty nifty feature but no - I tried using software which has control bars as part of the package but it seems to add this seperately to the actual video file and this comes up in the webpage.

Certainly its amazing that TW4 now offers so much more than I was first aware of. I just wish i was well enough to use it but have to wait until I'm fit.  I'll post the tour when its done however.

Genseng, Can I also suggest that if you have a control bar, and the video has sound, that sound anywhere else on the scene is 'killed' when the play button on the video is pressed?  This would stop sound coming at the user from the video and either background files or specific scene files.

Thanks

Control panel is possible if you use this software!

Have just tried it - want me to post a demo using their demo software?

Don't mind the wrong video with the wrong tour...

Enjoy!

Video support would be greater if
- flv format would be directly supported
- streaming possibility using remote file (on one's own server)
- being able to use url for video such as youtube, vimeo, screencast file
- being able to remove the border and background of the popup window
which would allow video with alpha channel such as a talking person
- solving the sound issue when closing the window with flash 10 ?

You know what would I'd also love... but I haven't a clue how it would be possible...

an ability to make hotspots of any sort (still image / video etc) to a url of the clients own choosing. So, for example, we make the tour at our end and then they can add their own image. We could make a tour of a location - lets say a holiday resort - and different holiday users could use the links we make to put in their own holiday videos or snaps.

Just a thought.
