Hi there,
I'm having huge problems with tour just now. Works fine on a Windows PC (XP and Vista) but is painfully slow on a Mac, although this might be because both Macs are very slow due to little hard disk space remaining.

On a PC with firefox my tour 'hangs' at 10%
Any ideas would be really greatefully appreciated!

I have PC running Vista and FireFox and it loaded fine for me. Yes, it did stick at 10% but not for long. My guess is your pano picture file sizes are huge. Maybe dial those back a little? My target file size is around 1meg.

Hi Forrest,

I tried your link and could not get past the 10% mark on either Firefox or IE8. I'm using Windows 7 64bit. Thought I'd try it on an XP box and guess what.. it paused at 11% then loaded ok. The plot thickens!! I would consider firing off a ticket to Easypano over this issue.

Cheers folks - this has stumped me completely but thanks so much for your help in this.   I re-sized the files so no one file is bigger than 800k.

So so far what I have is

PC at home - Vista - IE8 - runs fine - AOL browser - runs fine

PC at school - IE7 - runs fine - Firefox - Hangs at 10%

Mac at school - Firefox - runs killingly slowly (at least 1 - 2 mins wait before another scene loads up).

I might have to take some scenes out. I cant downsize them more because I've already got terrible 'banding' on the skies on most of them.

Thanks so much for checking this folks.

PC Windows 7 64bit IE/Firefox/Google Chrome Tour loaded fine for me. Hesitated a bit at 10% but loaded fine aftwewards. Maybe schools has firewall issue?

I know at work we use "Bluecoat" web filtering and have to force refresh (In windows) with CTRL+F5

Win7 64bit and firefox works ok - hangs a while at 10 and 11% and took 45 seconds to load on a 8mb connection if that helps?

WinXP - Firefox 3.6.8 - Tour is hanging at 10%

I came looking for a solution to this exact same problem. It's only happening with Firefox. My tours have loaded fine on my computer for a long time and suddenly - nothing. I'm afraid a client is going to notice!

I'm going to reboot my PC and see if it's some sort of cache issue.

*edit*
Reboot did nothing to help. I believe the problem stems from updates to the browser. Sent Firefox an error report.

Based on your "The Matthews House" tour.

It fails to load in Internet Explorer 8.0.7600, Opera 10.6 or Firefox 3.6.4.

This points to:

You need to compile and publish with the very latest version of your Tourweaver build. Or replace the the two .swf files within each tour you have produced as discussed in this thread.
