Hi All
Not striclty a TW question but does anyone know how to make a flashing hotspot with a transparent background. I know the basics and can make an swf with a flashing arrow (scene link) but it always has a white background. I tried setting the publish settings in flash to transparent but in TW it always has a white background.
Any ideas?
Thanks

The background is made transparent in Flash with the "wmode="transparent" but this is not required for use within Tourweaver. Although your Flash hotspot will show a background colour when played in standalone mode, once incorporated as a "Flash Movie" and then have the command added to "mimic" a hotspot via the "action" command to "Link to Scene" this background should not show in the preview or published tour.

Be sure to select the transparency options via the colour selection.

Thanks Smooth I always wondered what that box was with the red line through it :). What does the other box do to the right of it?

That option opens the full colour pallet allowing you to enter HEX # colour numbers or RGB, HSL and add custom colours.

HI Smooth

I tried your suggestion but my hotspot still has a white background.
Could this be because I am using an old version of Macromedia Flash 8?

Cheers
