I just tested this myself with a very simple one pano scene and it published and worked OK.

Check the naming of the file and also the publish path.

Thanks Smooth, still nothing. I have made another tour just with 2 panos and still nothing. I can open all other swf no problem.

The full path I have is

C:\Program Files\Easypano\Tourweaver 6 Professional Edition\Output\Project1\_swf\Project1.swf

may be its because I am only on the trial version?

I output to my Desktop. Try changing the path.

I remember a long time ago when path's had a space in them it could cause issues.

Can't hurt to try.

Adding to this:

If I try to publish to the install directories Output folder is fails.

C:\Program Files\Easypano\Tourweaver 6 Professional Edition\Output\Project1

The reality is that the output folder "chosen" it is not the final destination and the final destination is basically meant to be a hidden folder.

Browsing to this directory finds the published tour, but if you attempt to open it you get all white.

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Easypano\Tourweaver 6 Professional Edition\Output\Project1\_swf

Like I said, try publishing to another directory like your Desktop.

Joe originally stated that we could upload .swf direct to YouTube. As I understand it that is not correct.
So what good is a .swf file?
What can you do with it?
Why would you need it?
Thanks, my stupid questions for today!

Well for a start,

You get one single file instead of masses of files and folders.

Makes it much harder to steal your images (out of the scene folder).

Other applications (may) allow the import of .swf files.

Is it in your file naming? What is the file name?

Do you have standalone Flash installed? Or is it trying to open via a web browser?

Have you set up your Flash security settings so you can test locally?
