Yes, it is possible.

Use button or image to indicate pdf file. For that button add 'action' 'execute javascript' in the 'Misc' folder.
Window will appear. Enter there code like this:

window.open('http://www.your_website/yourpdf.pdf','_blank','status=yes,top=0,left=0,width=920,height=800');

Change params according to your liking.

P.S.: If you want pdf to appear directly in TW window (not in the popup window), then you have a bit more complicated sithuation. You'll have to IFRAME your pdf file and hide it. Then use the same "execute javascript" to unhide pdf layer. If you are not a programmer, then it will be hard to do yourself.
