I would like to have one FLV file shared with few virtual tours... because I intend to change that FLV file in one place for all virtual tours. Is that possible (to give a path to tourweaver for FLV file) ?
Hi Donald, LOL, I reckon Tomax knows how to do that. What he wants is to share a FLV file across many virtual tours. Ideally I guess if you could have an iframe within a popup window would be a good solution and then the flv file could be updated.
Perhaps this is something that can be explored as it has been mentioned quite a few times.
One of the options is to use a flash player which is able to play external (not embedded) .flv files (you may add such the players as flash applications in TW).
Or you may wait for a next version (as Donald says they will add such the native solution).
But there are several things you need to consider. And the first one is that adobe flash by default restricts accessing resources for different destinations. For example, if you need to play the same .flv for www.pano1.com and www.pano2.com, then you will have to tell flash application (TW) that both sites are welcome to do it by serving corssdomain.xml file on the server side. In short - i'm trying to say that it is not as easy from development and usage point of view.
I mean - even if it was a possibility, i would think twice before doing that.
