What is the javascript code to have a button open another .exe tour in tw5?

  • My problem is that I have over 200 scenes that I need to split into 2 tours.
  • These tours will not be for public viewing, therefore will be using .exe only.
  • Is there a better way than linking them through the use of a button?
  • I'm using Tourweaver 5.0

Thanks much guys!!

Hi Will, Welcome to the forum my friend. Are you creating them on to a CD? If so I think the answer may be in using Auto Run Pro. You can create a user interface and link it to the various tours. Still needs buttons though.

Thank you for your reply.

I'd rather like to see if I can use the buttons within tw5 to execute javascript to open the .exe files.

Is this possible?  If so, what is the javascript code to do so?

No, impossible - it would be a giant security hole if javascript could execute .exe files.
