Hello everyone.

I have this tour:

http://www.wideeyes.dk/temp/drejbystrandcamping2/_flash/DrejbyStrand-Camping_drejbystrandcamping.html

I am about to deliver it to my client, but I would like to change the file structure. Right now the output file from TW is very long:

/drejbystrandcamping2/flash_/DrejbyStrand-damping_drejbystrandcamping.html

I would like to change it to be:

/drejbystrandcamping2/index.html

It was easy to change the name of the html file to index.html, but I can't figure out how to change the location so I avoid the "_flash" folder.

Can anybody help me?

Regards

Morten

Just upload the contents of the _flash folder.

Place them into your "drejbystrandcamping2" folder.

Rename the DrejbyStrand-damping_drejbystrandcamping.html to index.html

Then you have the desired address

http://www.wideeyes.dk/temp/drejbystrandcamping2

No need to type the /index.html in the URL address bar.

That's all there is to it!

Hi Smooth

You are great :)

Yes this is obviously a great solution. However I would have loved to be able to deliver a cd with one folder called:

drejbystrandcamping

with just 2 elements in it:

a) index.html
b) _flash

Then I can ask the client to upload all the files and link to the index.html file.

With your solution I will have 13 files in the "drejbystrandcamping" folder. I just think it looks prettier with just 2 files which would also seem more manageble for the client.

I know this is just a small thing, but it's just how I am used to do it :)

I've tried opening the html file to see if I could figure out what to change in order to do it my way. I thought that it might be enough to add "_flash/" somewhere, but if it is I can't figure out where :(

Regards

Morten

G'day Morten,

OK, I can show you how.

Find within the index.html file:

<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>

Change to:

<script type="text/javascript" src="_flash/swfobject.js"></script>

Find:

var so = new SWFObject("twviewer.swf",

Change to:

var so = new SWFObject("_flash/twviewer.swf",

Leave contents in the _flash folder and offer the client the two files.

1) index.html file.

2) _flash (folder + contents).

Regards, Smooth [8D]

A service like tinyurl.com is just a way to shorten a long URL or mask it for a very short moment. Morten was asking how to modify a file structure so the .html page didn't have to be placed within the published project directory.
