I am trying to get Street View to work in my tour and so far can't get it to work. I am using TW7.00 120113. I've had a look at the EP video tutorial but it doesn't go as far as showing Street View. I have a valid API key and can get Google maps to work no problem, but just can't figure out the Street View bit. I am using flash (not html5). Would someone be kind enough to explain the steps for me.

Thanks
Willie

As I understand it, Google Map Street View is HTML5 only.

You drag the "Pegman" and drop him on your Radar/Hotspot to make the change.

Doesn't help with Flash question though!

Thanks Smooth,

That makes a change being able to do something that Flash can't do better!

Cheers

Yes, but I don't understand why it would be limited to HTML5.

Because Google doesn't provide Street View API for flash. Just for javascript.

Best wishes,

Not sure if this is the same thing but I read a post that says,

"Street view is not part of the flash API. However you can use the flash ExternalInterface for the necessary two way communication between flash and JavaScript."

and here is the thread: Street View in Flash API

Yes, that's possible. Some time (half year or more) i have posted an example: http://www.virtualivizija.lt/demo/scontrol3/
It is done exactly by using the same technique (javascript and flash communication).
On the other hand - it would work only in one (FlashVR) mode (no exe, no single swf).
