move up to DSLR

It's a small step for a man, but a big step for panos :-)

Hi Mark,

Once again, love the images. Great work!!

Q: Are you taking multi exp then using a HDR programme ie:Photomatix or blending with layers in PS.

I now have the same set up as you, just awaiting my agnos head. I'm like a kid with a new toy at xmas unable to use it because no battaries came with it.

Any tips on achieving these kinds of great results. Method of shooting, M or A with AE-L  Focus mode, metering etc. Also any clues on the nodal point setting for the Pano head would be much appreciated.

BTW. with the cost of this new setup I'm unable to spend anymore money for the blue skies. I'll take advantage of any free knowledge that may be available and just make do with the grey clouds.

Regards

mediaPix

@mediapix

3 times 4 shots bracketing M mode -> Photomatix

Nodalpoint 8mm sigma gold ring

Nodalpont Agnos (center of head) where it turns.

About X-mas without the battaries -> I know exacetly how you feel. My very fist Computer came after

- 3 month of thinking, can I really aford it

- 3 weeks of waiting after ordering

- 3 days of waiting to get it from shop

- 3 min to realize the had german electical cord instead of swiss (diferent outlet)

So I am with you all the way on that feeling.

Regards Markus

PS: Other then that. You will grow on the job.

Good Panos comes from experience

Experience comes from bad panos
