I'd be interrested to see what caused this situation? Anyway, I've been having a look at their website for years, and I saw other companies like easypano coming up during the same time, but IPIX never changed its pricing (something like 20$ per keys for a virtual tour). Would it be a part of the explanation?

A little thought for those who lost their jobs

I care little about their jobs. If you work for the devil  only bad can happen! I will happily dance on the iP*x grave.

Very interesting to see that the Ford Oxaal website has been upgraded lately.

http://www.pictosphere.com

A nervous wind is blowing? Ford claims he owns the Patents in the USA for spherical photography and this to some point was proven in the courts some time back when he took on iP*x and won. He then offered non exclusive rights to iP*x etc etc.

My dealings with Ford have always been pleasant. I hope it stays that way!

Regards, Smooth

How does this affect the market? Is there now a vacuum of former IPIX customers (RE agents?) that needs to be filled?

Should be very interesting.....although I have found that people who were paying for IPIX tours were doing so for a reason.

What reason would that be?

The reason being that they were not willing to pay for higher quality.
