Simon,

That's great! I use Photoshop CS2 for adjusting RAW files so I don't really have an issue with CA. All adjustments can easily be sorted in Photoshop's RAW Editor.

Bring on the price drop!

Regards, Smooth

11 months later.... hey smooth,

with that set up can you do a full 360 x 360  pano with 2 shots?

Nope, I still don't have the Canon 5D. I still use the Canon 10D.

But to answer your question your can use the Sigma 8mm on a Canon 5D, 1Ds or any full frame sensor camera and shoot and stitch as little as two shots no problem. The images produced are full circular (just like the Nikon Coolpix style FC-E8 and FC-E9 only much higher resolution) You can shoot as little as three shots with a 1.5x or 1.6x small sensor DSLR and Sigma 8mm on a Agnos www.agnos.com MrotatorC panohead but unfortunately Panoweaver cannot do the stitching but other software can.

BTW, it's 360 x 180 not 360 x 360.

Regards, Smooth
