Smooth,

Tomorrow when the sun is shining again i will make some shots, and i will note all settings used, and play with the focus area. I am not touching the camera, its mounted on a tripod with 10 sec. timer. So far I made shots at F8 and with different shuttertimes.

As i'm on my mother's PIII/800 computer at the moment, I don't have photoshop here to play with raw images.

Thank you for your reaction

Vilmer

This shot is made with the cp885:
Settings:
DSCN1973.JPG

METERING     : CENTER
MODE         : M
SHUTTER      : 1/8sec
APERTURE     : F7.4
EXP +/-      : 0.0
FOCAL LENGTH : f7.5mm(X1.0)
IMG ADJUST   : STANDARD
SENSITIVITY  : ISO100
WHITEBAL     : PRESET
SHARPNESS    : OFF
DATE         : 00.00.0000 00:00
QUALITY      : FULL FINE

This shot is made with the cp5000:
Settings:
DSCN1974.JPG
CAMERA       : E5000V1.8
METERING     : CENTER
MODE         : M
SHUTTER      : 1/8sec
APERTURE     : F8.0
EXP +/-      : 0.0
FOCAL LENGTH : f7.7mm(X1.0)
IMG ADJUST   : STANDARD
SENSITIVITY  : ISO100
WHITEBAL     : PRESET
SHARPNESS    : OFF
DATE         : 2006.09.06 08:22
QUALITY      : FULL FINE
SATURATION   : 0
FOCUS AREA   : CENTER

And here I have put them next to each other at 120%:

Both cameras had lens setting 'fisheye 1' , the whitebalance was set with a white paper in front of the lens and I used the 10 sec. timer.

Except for the 'focal lenght', which is set by the fisheye1 setting I guess,  I don't see anything disturbing differences.

Anyone?

Greetz

Vilmer
