Hi Guys,

Anyone out there can tell me how to create a Frame or Mask to go over the Tourweaver components, such as the map or viewer? I know it can be done as I have seen examples, but although I can create a frame in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, I can not see how to add a frame or mask in TW2.

Thanks in advance.

Hi rs360vt,

Tourweaver 2

Open TW2
New Project
Blank
Click the Scene Viewer
Frame Image
Browse to the folder location that contains the .jpg you created as a background layout image skin.

From there it is just a matter of placing the other components around on layers over your background skin.

Hi Dave

I think perhaps you may have misunderstood my question.

I want to create a frame or mask which will show in front of the Viewer and map.

For example, if I wanted a frame with say fronds of leaves cascading over part of the viewer, and the viewer to be displayed behind the leaves, how can this be done? For example, please see the link http://www.venustabledancing.co.uk/venus-tour.html and excuse the content...

Thanks

Igor,  Good thinking INFRONT of the Box.

Buttons are only object pictures.  All buttons have functions.  Some buttons function only as pictures.

as 360texas has said..

A button is non necessary! TW 2 & 3 have a simple option for it.

1). First thing you need to do, is making a transparent image.

      - here is a tutorial > http://tinyurl.com/3yegrf

2). Make a simple tour in TW.

-          select SceneViewer.

-          Make the box the same size as the transparent image

-          Than select the map icon next to the sign Frame Image:

-          Select your transparent gif image

say the truth, after several serious problems with tw2 I did not continue with using it.

The above VT was done by TW 1.3 some time before... In TW1.3 I did not find any better way how to do it...

But it is nice to know that in TW2/3 it is easier.
(Thanks for the idea!) Now I hope that the new software will be really usable

Regards, Igor
