Thanks for nice words! It is really good to hear it :)
But the compliments should go to EP team which created tourweaver in such a way that we can extend it in many ways. It really has lots of potential.
100% agreed, it has a great potential. But they need to move little bit faster and to use our feedback more. If we get deep linking after 5 years or google street view integration or +200 scenes available... it is hard for us to lead the market, as providers.
Hi Madux, I have been playing around with your markers on Street View,. I have been having problems trying to change them. Can you tell me how you get the longer co-ordinates such as for the cafe
var cafe = new google.maps.LatLng(40.72996619203225, -73.99158954620361);
I assume this longer geocord is including zoom and pitch so the marker can be pinpointed with soem accuracy??
Yup.
Use my tool at http://www.arzinai.lt/useful/geocreator/geocreator.html. There must be also lots of other tools for that purpose.
Zoom in to your location (the white crossed lines will show the center) and copy coordinates from two input fields from the left.
Some translations (in the case you use it):
"Rodyti" (show) - enter aproximate coordinates and click the button, it will take you there on the map;
"Pieti apskritim" (draw circle) - it will get coordinates at the position and put it to the list. Also it draw a circle (with given radius in km) and a marker;
"Paalinti visk" - remove all from the list
"Paalinti pasirinkt" - remove selected from the list
"Kopijuoti koordinates atmint"- copy coordinates to the clipboard (whole list of coordinates).
I notice in the html5 demo os TW6.5Pro that in the google map there is a pegman so that you can show street view. Will this be added in to the flash version not just iphone/safari? If so will we be able to add hotspots inside Street View?
Hi Madux, on your great demo of the street view, sometimes when you get into Satellite view you then cannot get back to Street View. I know thsi is just a demo but do you know a way to have the Pegman showing so that you can get back to Street View.
There's no simple way, because google maps api does not provide pegman control, but certainly doable.
So, there are two ways - either wait for google maps to add pegman to the api or create you own pegman ;) Of course - there are out there several implementations/hacks.
If you really need this, i'll look into that.
