I don't know - i don't read manuals ;) Just looked what your proposed (Terry) site is doing. If you need some other links, just click other share buttons on that site and you'll see the answer in the address line.
With "real" social applications kind of facebook Like button things are getting more complicated and you can't get away that easy.

Use urldecode tools, for example http://urldecode.org/
Most of the codes will be translated into readable symbols.

you are mixing up the 'like' and 'share' option of facebook. The 'like' stuff uses a script with iframe. If I'm not mistaking you cannot implement an iframe inside a flash application..
