OK,

You are reporting a bug:

  • Mouse cursor disappears when using mouse over action (Hotspots/Flash Files etc).

Your other question about having the hint around cursor.

This works great with image, text or flash via "hint" options. You can also have a hotspot that will pop-up window in conjunction with Location: Around Component

These are things for Easypano to look into and try and find a fix.

At least now I have some idea what you were trying to explain. The file helped a great deal.

Regards, Smooth [8D]

If these bugs are fixed, will it be fixed for TourWeaver 7.0 Pro only or for version 6.5 also?

Thanks you so much for help,

With best regards,

Pavel

Only Easypano can answer this!

About time Cheer (or somebody from Easypano) chimed in on some of these question raised on the forum.

The cursor needs to retain (focus) when mouse over is in effect.

I think the reason may be in the flash preview(swf file), which has code "Mouse.hide()". So when the flash preview appear, "Mouse.hide()" is executed then Mouse cursor disappears. you can try another swf or a still image.

I will run some tests. Maybe you will do the same and prove your theory?

I do it, it's true.
step1: Using flash ide to create a fla file which has three layers, one is a img layer(put a image), the other is a text layer(put "happy new year!" text), the third is an as3 code layer(put "import flash.ui.Mouse; Mouse.hide();" ). See the image(http://www.flickr.com/photos/77256176@N08/6919978911/in/photostream).
step2: Publish the fla file and renamed the swf file as "mouse_hide.swf".
step3: in as3 layer, comment the code "Mouse.hide();" and publish another swf file renamed "mouse_nohide.swf".
step4: tourweaver 6.50.120217, create a project and add a spherical panorama, add two popup windows(named popupwindow0 and popupwindow1). in popupwindow0 add a flash component with "mouse_hide.swf ", in popupwindow1 add a flash component with "mouse_nohide.swf". Now, add two hotspots in spherical panorama(named hotspot1 and hotspot2), hotspot1 has action Show/hide Popup Window with Display Mode(Mouse Over) and name(popupwindow0), hotspot2 has action Show/hide Popup Window with Display Mode(Mouse Over) and name(popupwindow1).
step5: preview or publish the tw project, when the mouse is over the hotspot1, mouse cursor disappears and doesnt appear until you move it beyond the tour or click the mouse. when the mouse is over the hotspot1, mouse cursor still exists.
