Hi, I am running into more and more issues where clients say they cannot view my virtual tours. On investigating further it would seem that is is IPad users that have the trouble.

What is the best way to get round this, do I have to produce a tour in HTML5 as well as Flash to cover both users and have an option button for the user to choice which option they need. Maybe there is a bit of script that can detect which one they need to use?

Any thoughts appreciated.

You already have the dual "Auto" publishing option in Tourweaver.

It is the first in the publish list "Automatic Flash/HTML5".

Publish using this option and use the HTML file in the Auto folder. Upload everything "without" changing file structures.

If Flash is detected Flash will be served, If iPod, iPhone or iPad is detected the HTML5 for Safari will be served. All automatically.

Thanks Smooth, Do you know if the detection still works if you are showing a tour via an Iframe or must you always have the VT embedded in the actual page for it to know which browser type is being used?

It can be an iFrame no problem.

Smooth, Just another thought. Should I be able to view a tour on an iPod Touch with wifi, it has Safari so I guess it should be ok?

Reason being is that I dont posses an iPad so cannot test my work but I do have an iPod Touch.

Hi, I have created a small tour in TW6.5 and selected the auto_ option to cover Flash and html5.

The flash version works fine but all I get on the html5 side is a grey screen, any ideas?

The tour can be seen on this link which is the auto_ link

Link to Tour

If I try to open the published html5 files in Safari I only get a grey screen and the same if I try to view it on my iPad Touch.

The latest Build I have on TW6.5 is 6.50.110817
