The product does SOUND intriguing
But it isn't. I was considering purchasing Panowalker and the Panoflash product. There is a much better version of the Flash product available for $15 dollars with great features and is far more versatile. It works on the new feartures in Flash 11 and all parameters are easily set in xml.
I do hope you pursue the walk through concept but at that price and with that preformance it is not going to fly. One can purchase some very serious software that does far more than a walk through pano effect for that price. I could almost bear the price being accustomed to such as an Adobe Cloud user, but when I saw the performance of your own examples it baffles me why you think there is a market. If it stalls and you get white screen, your software is not ready for market. The only place for a loader is at the beginning of the tour loading. If it needs to load during a stroll you are not done with your product. Nor is it likely given the other porducts springing up for less than $100 that do the same thing that it will ever be worth as much as you hope.
I do hope you keep at it. I need something along the lines of what you are doing for a project that is not a tour. It is to be a web work of art. If you ever reach a point where the product can play smoothly and sell for less I would be very interested. It seems the smooth play should not be that difficult. I have seen others that manage a similar effect with sound and surround video playing at the same time (Ryubin, I think). Those are free but the movement is by FOV setting and lacks the natural feel I seek.
