Can't hear .au sounds

Help, 

I am a rookie to this and I cant seem to get the .au sounds to work right.  I can hear .au sounds on my computer from file explorer. In Pt Viewer  I can add a hot spot, add the sound then  when I go and  review I don't  hear the sound when the hot spot is clicked.  I think I added it right.  Any help would be appreciated.
